AI engineered for the front line. Not the back office.

Storm is the front line AI agent for the built world. Voice briefings, site photos, and observations go in. Structured, auditable records come out. Built for the conditions where most software fails.

Trusted by companies, projects and teams of all sizes

AGENT

How Storm turns field reality into records

Voice, photos, location, and conversations go in. Structured, auditable records come out. Five purpose-built layers do the work, with your team in control of every sign-off.

01 — Environment Layer

Capture field reality as it happens

Your crew describes the work through conversations, walkthroughs, photos, and notes. Storm captures all of this unstructured data exactly as it happens on site. No forms to fill in, no interruption to the work.

  • Voice notes and hands-free dictation captured cleanly even with machinery, wind, or movement in the background
  • Photos and video read as primary data, not attachments. Equipment, defects, conditions, and people are interpreted directly
  • Location, time, and weather pulled automatically from device metadata
  • Existing documents ingested: PDFs, Word, Excel, scanned permits, and photos of paper forms
  • Workers contribute in their own language. Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and more, with no setup required
02 — Updraft Layer

Turn raw signals into structured understanding

Field data arrives messy. A voice note here, a photo there, a GPS ping underneath. The Updraft layer ingests every signal, extracts what matters, and maps it to your systems and use cases, so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Multi-modal ingestion pipeline unifies voice, image, and text into one stream
  • AI extraction identifies assets, hazards, defects, plant, materials, and conditions
  • Maps to your systems: safety, quality, fleet, ops, and more
  • Maps to your use cases: inspections, incidents, SWMS, maintenance
  • Classifies and routes each input. Generate a document, fill a form, trigger a workflow, or store a record
03 — Orchestration Layer

Route to the right action, every time

Once the data is understood, Orchestration decides what to do with it. Storm selects the right product capability and executes it without manual intervention.

  • Generate: describe what you need and Storm builds a smart digital template from scratch
  • Convert: upload a PDF, Word doc, Excel sheet, or photo of a paper form and Storm rebuilds it as a digital template
  • Complete: voice notes, photos, and observations auto-fill the right form fields inside any open form
  • Workflow execution: approvals, assignments, and routing triggered by field events
  • Multi-step workflows chained across capabilities
04 — Intelligence Layer

The reasoning engine that does the work

This is not routing. This is where the agent thinks. Storm is purpose-trained on built-world workflows. It pulls context together, reasons through what happened, and validates every output against your standards before anything is saved.

  • Purpose-trained on built-world workflows, not retrofitted from a generic dataset
  • Knows the difference between documents that look similar but mean different things: a JSA is not a method statement, an ITP is not an inspection record
  • Pulls context together across voice, photo, location, metadata, and identity to enrich every record
  • Validates outputs against your compliance rules and completeness checks before presenting them
  • You stay in control. Storm never commits a record on its own. Every output is a draft for human review
05 — Output Layer

Structured records, delivered where they matter

Everything Storm produces lands in your systems as structured, auditable, defensible records. Completed forms in Dashpivot. Dashboards for leadership. Integrations into the tools your business already runs on.

  • Completed forms, reports, and records inside Dashpivot
  • Dashboards and aggregated insights for real-time visibility
  • Export to PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Microsoft 365 integrations: SharePoint, Dataverse, Power BI, OneDrive
  • Open API access for custom pipelines and downstream systems
  • MCP connectors expose Storm data to AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot
  • Queryable, structured data that holds up under audit

Built for the way work actually happens.

Generic AI tools assume screens, keyboards, and quiet rooms. Storm assumes none of that. Every capability is engineered for the conditions the front line actually operates in.

Listens to the work

Captures voice cleanly through machinery, wind, and movement. Accents and trade language understood. No headset needed.

Speaks every language

Workers contribute in their own language. Records land in your workspace's working language. Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and more.

Sees the site

Photos read as primary data, not attachments. Equipment, defects, PPE, and conditions are all interpreted directly from what's in frame.

Reads documents

Upload existing PDFs, Word, Excel, or photos of paper forms. Storm rebuilds them as smart digital templates, structure intact.

Reads the weather

Wind, rain, temperature, and visibility logged against every record automatically. Critical for safety, quality, and dispute evidence.

Knows the context

Location, time, crew, plant, and materials pulled automatically. Critical for inspections, incidents, and time entries.

Speaks built-world

Purpose-trained on real built-world documents. Knows a JSA from a method statement, an ITP from an inspection.

Works on site

Built for gloves, cabs, and screen protectors. Captures inputs offline and processes in the background. No waiting on the field.

You stay in control

Storm never commits a record on its own. Every output is a draft for human review. Admins control what Storm can write to.

Governance & Control

AI capability, without losing control.

Enterprise teams are already running AI through ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude. The risk isn't slow adoption. It's ungoverned adoption. Storm closes the gap.

Human-in-the-loop, every record

Storm never commits a record on its own. Every output is a draft. Accept, edit, override, or reject before it's saved.

Granular admin controls

Roll Storm out workflow by workflow. Admins set which workspaces, templates, and fields Storm can write to. Safety-critical fields can be locked to human-only entry.

Full audit trail

Every input, draft, edit, and approval is logged with a traceable owner. Storm-generated records hold up under audit.

LLM selection per workflow

Frequently asked questions

What does Storm cover?

Storm is the AI Data Capture Agent for the Sitemate stack. Across the Dashpivot web app and Dashpivot Mobile App, Storm powers AI Templates (generate or convert templates from a description or upload) and AI Form Fill (complete any open form from voice, photos, typed text, location, weather, and notes). Storm merges all inputs into a single draft, mapping data from each source into the relevant fields for user review before saving.

Is Storm standalone, or does it work alongside other Sitemate products?

Storm is not a separate product. It is an AI capability built into the Sitemate platform. It runs across the Dashpivot Web, the Dashpivot Mobile App, and the Sitemate Mobile App. Access in Gearbelt is coming soon.

What can Storm do today?

Storm generates templates from a description or an uploaded PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, or photo of a paper form. It fills any open Dashpivot form from voice notes, photos, typed notes, captured weather, and captured location. It works in multiple languages, merges inputs from multiple sources into a single draft, flags low-confidence fields for review rather than guessing, and respects existing template logic, smart fields, and permissions. Offline capture is supported on the Dashpivot Mobile App. Inputs queue and process automatically once connectivity is restored.

Where does the human stay in control?

Every Storm output is a draft. Templates can be edited before saving. Form fills can be reviewed, edited field by field, or rejected entirely. Certain fields Storm never touches regardless of settings. Signatures and sign-off fields, system-generated numbers, and prefilled template content always require manual action. Admins control which workspaces, templates, and fields Storm is allowed to write to. No record is committed without a qualified person signing off.

Can Storm make mistakes on safety-critical records?

Storm never commits a record on its own. Every output is a draft until a qualified person reviews and approves it. Admins can restrict Storm from writing to specific templates and fields, so safety-critical inputs always require human entry.

How is Storm priced?

Storm is available across all Dashpivot plans, including free trials, at no additional cost. There is no separate Storm subscription. Volume usage in enterprise environments is governed by fair-use guidance.

Are there limits on how much teams can use Storm?

No hard limits within standard usage. Enterprise environments with very high-volume AI form fill can request fair-use guidance, but most customers operate well within the included allowance.

How is Storm different from ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot?

General-purpose AI tools are not aware of your form templates, your workspace data, or your compliance context, and they don't reach the front line. Storm is purpose-built for built world workflows and operates inside your Sitemate environment, including the Dashpivot Mobile App and Sitemate Mobile App for in-field capture. It writes to your templates, respects your roles and permissions, and produces records that pass audit. If you also want to query Sitemate from ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot, Sitemate MCP exposes that read-only access.

How is Storm different from generic AI form fillers or document AI tools?

Generic AI form fillers handle one document at a time and lose context between forms. Storm understands your entire template library, your registers, and the relationships between records. It fills a daily report with the right project, weather, location, and crew because it knows the workspace, not just the form in front of it.

What industries does Storm work for?

Storm works across all industries that use Sitemate: construction, mining, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, oil and gas, and other asset-heavy operations. Storm is purpose-built for built world workflows, terminology, and documentation patterns.

Who in my team would benefit from Storm?

Supervisors and field workers reduce form-filling time on daily reports, site diaries, inspections, and incidents. Engineers and admins build templates faster with AI Templates. Quality and safety officers complete records as the work happens rather than at the end of shift.

Does Storm work on mobile and offline?

Yes. Storm processes inputs captured on the Dashpivot Mobile App and Sitemate Mobile App through the same pipeline as web. Voice notes, photos, and typed notes captured offline are queued locally and processed automatically once connectivity is restored. Storm does not require an online connection at the moment of capture.

How does Storm integrate with other systems?

Storm operates inside the Dashpivot web app and Dashpivot Mobile App, so any system Dashpivot integrates with (via Flowsite or the Sitemate API) benefits from Storm-completed records flowing through. Storm itself is not an external API. For querying Sitemate data from external AI tools, use Sitemate MCP.

How long does it take to enable Storm?

Storm is available across all Dashpivot plans, including free trials. Admins enable it at the workspace level in minutes, with optional template-level and field-level controls available for more granular governance.

Can we configure how Storm behaves?

Yes. Admins choose which workspaces Storm operates in, which templates it can fill, and which fields it can write to. Storm respects all existing role and permission settings. It cannot write where the user could not.
